Based of the frequent use of our auto repair materials, we suspect many library patrons are taking a do-it-yourself attitude toward auto repair these days. As we want to provide you with the best resources possible in the most fiscally responsible way, we are pleased to announce our recent subscription to EBSCO’s Auto Repair Center!
Whether you are rebuilding an entire engine or just changing your oil, Auto Repair Reference Center provides clear instructions to help you do the job — and has great illustrations too!
EBSCO’s Auto Repair Reference Center gives you online access to repair information, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams for approximately 25,000 vehicles and covers vehicles from 1954 to present. New repair procedures and updates are added continuously.
To access Auto Repair Reference Center, simply click on the icon above or follow the link from our Reference services page. (If you access the database from outside the library, you will be prompted for your Bristol library card number). Then choose the year, make, and model of the vehicle you are interested in (for example: 2000, Dodge, Neon).
Also, a warm (if belated) thanks to all you patient patrons out there who tried out this database for us last July! Your input has been invaluable.
