Bristol Public Library System has access to a host of databases that can be found on the library’s web site at bristollib.com. Many of these databases and web sites can be accessed on-site or remotely using your library card.
- Business & Company Resource Center. This business database provides up-to-date business, company and industry information — providing a wealth of information for anyone researching prospective employers. [Accessible through ICONN or our Reference Services page with your library card number]
- Glassdoor.com. Gives you an inside look at salaries, reviews, and interview questions for thousands of companies.
- LearningExpress Library. Provides access to career test preparation resources, skill building tools, and career guidance materials. (You do not need your library card number to access this service, but you will need to create a free user account).
Sign up for hands-on computer instruction! These free classes will provide you with an introduction to computer hardware and peripherals, word processing, Internet searching, email, resume writing, and online job hunting.
